China Furniture Wholesale Factory in Foshan: Direct Manufacturer for Bulk Orders
Foshan, Guangdong is China's furniture wholesale capital — but not every supplier in the district is a real factory. Here's what a

Short answer: I'm Neo Lee, a furniture sourcing expert based in Foshan, Guangdong — China's furniture capital — with 15 years of hands-on experience. I own and run ATTICO CASA, a 20,000 m² direct furniture factory that has been producing sofas, beds, mattresses, dining furniture and contract seating for importers worldwide since 2006. Our standard catalogue carries over 1,000 SKUs covering both residential and commercial furniture, and we handle OEM/ODM projects to your drawings. What we don't build in our own workshop — roughly 20 percent of specialist categories — I can source directly from my 20-year network of trusted Foshan factories at their factory-ex price, no markup. If you are planning a furniture order, a contract project or a sourcing trip to China, we should talk.
Written by Neo Lee, founder of ATTICO CASA. For fifteen years I have worked at every stage of the Foshan furniture industry — from cutting lumber and assembling frames as a young carpenter, to running QC lines, managing export logistics and now owning the factory. I see more furniture buyers arrive in Guangzhou or Lecong every week with a list and no factory visit planned. This article is for them.
There are two ways to buy furniture from Foshan. The first is to walk the showroom lanes of Lecong, compare swatches with three traders and book a container with a broker whose factory you have never seen. The second is to work with someone who has grown up inside the industry, who owns a factory you can visit, and who knows every workshop within forty minutes of their front door. I built ATTICO CASA to serve the second group — buyers who care where their furniture comes from and who want to talk directly to the person who decides how it is made.
I arrived in Foshan in 2009 as a nineteen-year-old apprentice in a wood-framing workshop, earning twenty yuan per day sanding chair legs. That workshop is gone now, but the lesson it taught me — every problem in the furniture business can be traced back to a factory you did not visit — has stayed with me. I spent the next three years moving between workshops, learning frame construction, foam stuffing, leather cutting and upholstery, and in 2012 I joined what was then ATTICO CASA's framing workshop as a production supervisor. By 2015 I was running the upholstery and QC lines; by 2018 I had bought a controlling stake in the company and begun expanding the workshop.
ATTICO CASA was founded in 2006, so the factory itself has twenty years of production history — of which I have been hands-on for the last fifteen. That distinction matters. Twenty years of workshop history means two decades of accumulated craftsmanship and process. Fifteen years in my case means I know what every one of my fifty seamstresses and senior carpenters is capable of, which batches they can handle alone, and which ones I need to supervise directly. I have personally negotiated with foam suppliers every quarter since 2014, and I still walk the framing floor before breakfast every production day.
This is not a biography to make you feel impressed. It is to make you feel informed. When you message me with a question about frame wood or foam density, you are talking to someone who has made that frame, cut that foam, inspected the resulting sofa and shipped it. When you come to the factory, I will show you the specific workshop where your order will run, introduce you to the foreman, and take you through a QC checklist that I personally designed. There is no trading layer between us.
Our factory sits on an 11-acre site in Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District — the same industrial park that feeds many of Foshan's mid-to-high-end upholstery brands. We operate 20,000 m² of production space split into four departments: wood framing, foam cutting, upholstery sewing and finished-goods QC. We also run a 5,000 m² showroom on the fourth floor where wholesale buyers confirm their orders, sample swatches and compare foam densities side by side.

We carry over 1,000 SKUs across six residential categories. Our strongest lines are modern upholstered sofas (l-shaped, modular and curved), panel beds and storage beds, pocket-sprung and memory-foam mattresses, marble-look coffee tables and side tables, and solid-wood dining sets. Every piece in our catalogue is built in our own workshop or in one of two sister framing workshops within ten minutes of our gate.
For contract and hospitality buyers — hotels, serviced apartments, restaurant chains, office fit-outs — we have a separate contract line with reinforced frames, higher-density foam and commercial-grade upholstery. Our contract range covers lobby sofas, guest-room armchairs, restaurant booth seating, office breakout seating and outdoor dining sets. Recent projects include serviced apartments in Dubai, boutique hotels in Lisbon and a retail chain fit-out in Nairobi.

Every order is tracked through a 25-point checklist that I designed after twelve years of chasing down defects on shipped containers. QC technicians are stationed at the lumber inbound stage (moisture under 12 percent), the frame assembly stage (joint torque verified with a torque wrench), the foam-stuffing stage (density spot-checked against spec), and the finished-goods stage (every drawer opens and every hinge is tested). The defects you find in your own warehouse after a 30-day ocean voyage should have been caught in our workshop on day twelve. We make sure they are.
This is the part most buyers do not expect. ATTICO CASA covers roughly 80 percent of the furniture categories most importers ask for. If you need a solid-wood dining set, a curved leather sofa, a pocket-sprung mattress or contract armchairs — we build it here. If you need something outside our core product range — custom marble dining tables, stainless-steel outdoor chairs, rattan conservatory furniture, occasional antique reproductions, or very large contract runs beyond our monthly capacity — I can source it for you directly from another Foshan factory.

How this works and why it is not a middleman operation: fifteen years in the industry has given me direct contact with more than 200 factory owners and foremen across Foshan's sub-clusters in Shunde, Nanhai, Lecong and Longjiang. When you ask me for something we do not make, I do not go to a broker. I call the factory owner I have known for ten years, ask for their current production slot, get their factory-ex price, and pass that price on to you without any markup. We handle the coordination — factory visit, QC, consolidation, shipping — but we charge you for our management time, not for the product itself. The factory sets the factory-ex price. We just make sure the product arrives in your container correctly and on time.
There is a reason I built ATTICO CASA first and only then started using my network. If you buy from a broker who does not own a factory, every quote is a margin — the broker adds their fee, the sub-factory adds another, and you have no way of knowing which of the three sources the broker actually used. When you work with me, you talk to someone who owns a factory you can walk into, who tells you honestly whether we build it or whether I will source it from a friend in Longjiang, and who gives you the price either way.
If you have drawings — of a single piece or of a full hotel suite — we quote within three working days. Our engineering team produces a manufacturing drawing from your design, sends it back for approval, and builds a prototype before we cut a single batch. OEM orders (your logo on our frame) and ODM orders (your design built in our workshop) are handled by the same project manager from kickoff to container loading.
Custom finishes — specific fabric, leather, paint color, leg shape, hardware supplier — are handled in our material library, where we keep 150+ fabric and leather grades in stock for sampling. If your finish is not in stock, we source the swatch from the supplier and have it in your hands within three days. There is no such thing as "close enough" in custom furniture. There is your spec, and there is what we build.

The standard flow from first email to loaded container is 6–8 weeks. Here is how we run it:

We welcome wholesale buyers to visit the factory and showroom in person, by appointment. The plant is open Monday to Saturday, and most visitors book a visit during the Canton Fair window (Phase 2, October 23–27 in 2026) — the drive from Pazhou is about 40 minutes, and we can arrange pickup from the fair ground if you give us a day's notice. If you cannot make the trip, we run live showroom walks on WeChat video and WhatsApp on request.
Maps:
A: Two differences, both structural. First, ATTICO CASA is a factory. We own the production line, employ 100+ craftsmen, run our own QC department, and cut 15–25 percent off your landed cost compared to a broker who has to markup their own margin. Second, when I source a product outside our core range, I call a factory owner I have known for ten years and pass their price on to you with no markup. A broker who sub-sources does not own a factory, cannot negotiate production schedules, and layers margins on top of every product. You pay less and control more when you work direct.
A: I started as an apprentice carpenter in 2009, moved into production management in 2012, took control of ATTICO CASA in 2018, and have been building this factory and my industry network full-time ever since. Fifteen years hands-on, every position in the supply chain from sanding to export logistics.
A: Standard MOQ is 10 pieces per SKU for wholesale orders. Contract and hospitality projects have no per-SKU minimum — we quote by total volume or by project. Standard production lead time is 25–30 working days from deposit and sample approval. Container loading and sea freight add 3–35 days depending on your destination (Australia and South America are the longest at 28–35 days ocean transit).
A: Yes. We produce private-label sofas and beds for 40+ retailers worldwide. We can apply your logo, print custom care labels, and pack the furniture in your branded cartons (MOQ 50 pieces per custom carton). If you have drawings, we quote within three working days and build a prototype before any batch production begins.
A: My fifteen years in Foshan has given me direct contact with 200+ factory owners across every sub-cluster — Longjiang for solid wood, Shunde for upholstery, Lecong for outdoor furniture, Dalan for mattresses. When I need something we do not make, I call the factory owner directly, confirm their capacity and price, and pass their factory-ex quote to you without markup. We handle QC and consolidation at the factory end. The price you see is the price the factory would charge a direct buyer.
A: China is the world's largest furniture exporter, and its safety regulatory framework is mature and well documented. All ATTICO CASA upholstered furniture carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (Class 1) certification for fabrics and foam, and our mattresses comply with US CPSC 16 CFR Part 1633 (flame retardancy) and EU EN 1725. Certification documents are provided with every shipment at no extra charge. The real risk in buying from China is not the product — it is the supplier. Working direct from a factory you can visit eliminates that risk.
A: Absolutely — and I encourage it. The factory is open Monday to Saturday by appointment. Most buyers visit during the Canton Fair window (October 23–27 in 2026) — the drive from Pazhou is about 40 minutes, and we can arrange a pickup if you give us a day's notice. Email or WhatsApp me a week in advance and I will send a visitor confirmation and the factory address in both English and Chinese.
